about the artist

Patty Jessee believes that you are fearfully and wonderfully made a gift to the world.  With this strong conviction, she considers it her honor to share in your family's special moments.

Patty doesn't just listen to your desire and needs for your portrait, she gets to know you to better understand what you want to convey.  Is it that precious expression of a toddler, the tiny hand of a newborn, the treasure of grandchildren, a high school senior before they spread their wings, or the glow of a bride and groom on their wedding day.

To each picture, Patty brings twenty-six years of experience in teaching secondary Art and working with children. She achieved her BSED and MFA from Pittsburg State University.  She has been taking Photographs since 1997 and she is a member of PPA , KPPA and WPPI.  In addition, Patty continually attends training seminars in the latest advances in lighting, portrait touch-up, and photography to ensure you have the very highest quality portraits.

I'm intrigued by people. Being one of ten children, I believe each person is uniquely designed...each with different interest and gifts...each on a different journey. It is my hope to tell the world who your story.  Not to merely capture your external appearance, but to paint a portrait of the your inner beauty.   To capture a moment that will become a priceless treasure to all that know and love you.
